Lok-N-Logs, Inc. markets its precut log home package through our main office/model/plant in Sherburne, NY and a nationwide dealer network. Lok-N-Logs started in 1975, providing logs for the American Bicentennial project for the restoration of Fort Stanwix in Rome, NY. This was followed up by the restoration of Fort Wayne in Indiana in 1976 and Lok-N-Logs joined the fledgling log home industry.
In 1992, Lok-N-Logs became the first log home manufacturer committed to pressure treating all log components with sodium borate, an EPA-registered preservative. We offer the industry’s only transferable lifetime warranty against damage to your log wall components by wood-digesting insects or decay.
Using plantation-grown red pine, Lok-N-Logs saws, peels, kiln dries, sodium borate pressure treats and fully pre-cuts your log home components. We offer a wide range of log style choices and our precut log packages result in substantial construction cost savings. Exterior log surfaces can be rustic peeled or milled smooth (D log). Interior choices include our rustic peeled profile (traces of cambium give the logs and authentic peeled look), or flat. Our wall logs are 6″ high and 8-11″ wide with a two inch wide tongue. Butt & Pass Log corners are precut mortise and tenon joints with relief grooves, gasket and caulk.
