Pan Abode Cedar Homes offers three distinct building systems to choose from:
Post & Beam System is our most versatile and economical building system. Posts support beams to create vaulted clear span open spaces. These visually exposed custom manufactured posts and beams of Douglas Fir create walls of glass allowing for a variety of interior finish wall treatments.
Phoenix Building System utilizes our solid kiln dried laminate Western Red Cedar wall timbers. Finished with vaulted ceilings of custom manufactured Douglas Fir Beams. Consider it to be the perfect solid timber wall home. The timber walls are completely pre-cut allowing for ease of construction. There are no twisting logs; no chinking of timbers and the long-term maintenance is simpler than a conventional built home.
Classic Timber System is our air-dried interlocking corner of solid Western Red Cedar. This is the building system that started Pan Abode Cedar Homes in 1952. With true old world craftsmanship, the wonderful aroma of cedar, completely pre-cut, creates the timeless Classic Cedar Home.
